Books. I Love Books

Not sure if most of you are aware of this; I love to read.  I love reading, especially those written in my second language, English.  Not to say that my native language is of no importance to me.  It's just that I found English wonderful & erm, more readable?  Ha ha -_-"  Ok, that's awkward.


English materials usually sound more professional.  More informative.  More straightforward.  Most are easier to digest.  To be understood.  To be learned.  But I can assure you, not all of them.  There are only certain types that meet my likings.  I don't read thick novels usually turned into movies:  Harry Potter & Twilight Saga to name some.  I don't read ghost stories; waste of time.  Should have summon them if I want, in which, I won't!  Eheh.


Some Malay novels written by experienced novelist are good too.  The only problem I have with Malay novels are the choice or use of words.  Maybe it's just not our nature to be so jiwang-jiwang cair-cair tangkap leleh & all that.  Newcomers usually suck in their writing!  Pardon me.  They thought they delivered nice stories that the readers could relate to their lives especially teenagers today when they actually shouldn't.  Such reading materials would only distort readers' thinking.  They're still trapped in the 'safe' zone.  NOT ALL BUT MOST of the characters created in the novels also picture inappropriate morale for us Muslims.  I know you know what I mean.  And now don't make me start on Malay dramas / movies (even though I do watch some of them & regret later *sigh*), as well as their songs.  You'll get the gist by watching these two videos:

Ok, my point here is that I just want to share my passion for reading English books / novels.  However, my passion has been hindered by my financial situation.  I spend most on foods, clothes, shawls, foods, aa foods, erm what else, foods.  Yes, mostly on foods!  Shame on me *sob sob*

My favorite author would be Mitch Albom & Cecelia Ahern!  :)  I haven't read all of their writings but insyaAllah with time & money, I will.  Can't describe the reasons for my favor in them, you should try read their novels.  Magnifico ^^ .  Been reading Ahern's since high school.  Currently reading The Gift by Ahern since, I don't know, a year ago?  Not that it's not interesting.  Time constraint, time!  Eheh :">  Got a new book as a gift from my brother, Fairuz entitled Bookends by Jane Green.  Haven't read any of her works, so I should try when I have the chance.  The semester break perhaps -___-"  *long sighhhhhh*

Got my eyes on these since forever!  T_T  Don't have enough money allocated for them.  Too bad :(

I know it's starting to get annoying for some of you that I am currently active in writing new entries but it's just me.  One second I'm so full with ideas & great words and can quickly evolve to mindless lazy monster with no interest in writing the very next second.

I'm happy to see that my current followers number has finally reached 100 (not that it's something to be proud of), but oh my I could be happier if any of you can contact me if you happen to know any ILLUSTRATOR vacancies around Selangor & Kuala Lumpur.  Please please pretty please!

Hai, saya Diyanah dan saya pemalas.

Halo halo.  *congak*  Gahhh, dah 6 hari kat rumah?!  Why why whyyyyy rasa macam baru sehari dua?!  T_T


Yes yes, I've been home since last Friday memandu seperti biasa (ceh, macam sejak tahun lepas pulak kan drive sendiri -_-") untuk pulang ke rumah kali tu ada 2 orang peneman Maslinda dan Izura.  Muah muah terima kasih you'allz.  Siod diorang siap main shift tidur lepas Gambang tukar co-pilot (walaupun dua-dua tak drive).  Takpa takpa, janji ada teman mengumpat.  Eh?!


And another yes yes, balik untuk study week katanya.  Since our paper only starts on the 27th so I decided to laze for a week and another week strictly for revisions (insyaAllah insyaAllah).  So dah nak seminggu ni, bermakna esok saya harus pulang ya, ya ya harus pulang.  Ya ya, ke Dungun.  Apa?  Oh tidak tidak, bukan ke rumah suami.  Ya?  Oh ya ya, saya belum berumahtangga.

Alhamdulillah, finally opened two new bank accounts.  One for performing Hajj well of course at Tabung Haji and another for our future (insyaAllah) at CIMB Bank.  Thanks for the company, mister.


Hmm hmm.  Right, dapat jugak rasa Tutti Frutti walaupun terpaksa meredah hujan ribut sampai kasut baru beli dari Yo basah seluar jeans basah, wuuu T_T  Sokay.  Pengorbanan tu.  Makan tetap makan!  Anywayssssss, rabak poket orang tua entah berapa gram dibedalnya.  Tu la, masa amek tu tamak sangat!  Kan dah.  Ahahaha.  Yes yes, terima kasih saudari Shairah sekali lagi kerana telah memberi direction ke situ walaupun tak berapa membantu.  Keh keh keh.  Mari mari tonton:

Bila nak beli something of good quality tak semestinya kau kena pergi Topshop, MnG, Forever 21, Timberland, Esprit dan sebagainya.  Kau tak tau entah-entah kedai-kedai tu pun ada je yang reject.


Bila nak sesuatu yang baru & nampak mahal tak semestinya kau kena perhabis ratusan ringgit untuk pakaian yang nampak macam boleh dapat kat bundle dengan harga bawah sepuluh ringgit.


Aku tak kata aku tak pakai branded langsung.  Aku pun tak kata aku suka gila barang murah.
Muka aku bukan senang nak nampak kat bundle pasar malam Khamis bandar Dungun.
Muka aku sangat sukar nak nampak shopping kat Pavilion mahupun KLCC.


Memang la, sebab aku shopping online je.  Eheh :">
Eh tak tak, tak semestinya sebab tu.  Memang aku jarang shopping.

Aku shopping bila perlu.  Perlu di sini bermaksud terutamanya bila baju-baju lama dah terlalu sendat & singkat yang boleh mendatangkan nafsu syahwat (eh?)  lebih-lebih lagi apabila pinggang 30" dah jadi 32", peha ala model dah hilang ketegangan.  Hmmm.

Tambahan pula semenjak dua tiga menjak ni sering ditegur kekasih kacak garang aku, telinga mana tak panas.  Maka, baru lah ada alasan untuk membeli-belah.  Kalau tiada alasan kukuh, si kacak garang lagi keding akan buat suara & wajah tak puas hati.  Hoho.


Senang cerita macam ni la, bila nak beli something tu fikir jauh dulu untuk jangka masa panjang tempoh kau nak pakai, bila sesuai pakai.  Bukan sekali beli fikir untuk satu occassion saja.  Bila sesuatu event yang dirancang tak jadi, mula nak melenting dah spend too much on one piece of 'junk' yang kau rasa kau nak pakai sekali je.  Takmo macam tu eh takmo takmo.  Ok?


Pendek kata, orang kata ukur baju kat badan sendiri.  Aku kata kira lah duit kat buku akaun sendiri.  Jangan sibuk tiru orang bergaya dengan barang nampak mahal sikit kau terkincit nak pergi KL cari yang lebih kurang.  Ada akal fikir.  Entah-entah orang tu beli kat blogshop orang Perlis je harga tak sampai suku ratus.  Haha.  Tak pun dia dapat duit PTPTN satu sem 6 riban ke mana kau tau.

Went to Hutan Lipur Sekayu, Terengganu yesterday.  The event was totally unplanned.  We felt like it, we agreed & we went.  As cool as that ;)

It is a very nice place & you can also rent chalet if you would like it to be more comfortable especially when it comes to changing clothes & all.  The place is also very peaceful, great place to go if you're trying to get out from the hustle & bustle of the city.  And hey, if you're stressed with quizzes & assignments too !  ;D

Hello there :)
Just so you guys know, Alhamdulillah I'm fully recovered from food poisoning by now.
But too bad the cramps resulting from my 'monthly pain' has disturbed my daily routine.
Besides that, I didn't get the chance to spend a day visiting my classmates' houses in Terengganu for Raya. I'm really sorry guys!
Not that I will make any difference after all.

The finals is on its way. Not even for more than a month to be exact!
A bit pressured but I seriously do not know where to start.
Every subject is so scary >.<
Still, I spend most of my leisure time to read novels & sleep & eat & surfing the net.
What a stupid time waster right? -___-"

Ok so I've finished some books such as THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES by CECELIA AHERN, FIVE GREAT PLAYS OF SHAKESPEARE, PRIDE & PREJUDICE by JANE AUSTEN, REMEMBER ME? by SOPHIE KINSELLA, etc. etc.

Somehow I'm interested to do a review on ROMEO & JULIET since I just learned the exact story plot & sequence of events.
Not exactly a review, it's just based on the simplified dialogues :)
No offense ok Shakespeare fans, hehe. This is just for fun & my very very very honest point of view.

Since it's very hard for me to go online these days due to assignments, workloads, quizzes, tests, conflicts, people renting my broadband modem & all,
I decided to post as many entries as I managed to today *giggles*

It's almost 5 o'clock in the morning.

I love all the twists & tales & struggles & love & sadness in the novel.
Written by Dorothy Koomson, I give My Best Friend's Girl a rating of 7.5/10!



Currently reading Cecelia Ahern's Thank For The Memories.
Only reached half way of the novel & already loving it!

The author always write beautiful stories.
Hoping I have enough money to collect all her novels *sigh*

Keira Knightley did a great job for the movie too, oh well just like she always do.
Need to go home & watch it again.
Have to give 9/10 for this one, the movie I mean ;)

STUD Fetish

At first I thought it was only random girls' talk.

But two of my dear beloved beautiful & pretty best girlfriends proved me wrong :)
Somehow they put more effort & seriousness into their plans.

Few months ago, they told me their intention of setting up a blog shop.
Not long ago they said they were busy going for clothes hunting.
Up to that point, I was already impressed by the time & money they are betting on.

After months of waiting they finally proved me I'm wrong all along!
They finally managed to set up an awesome blog shop with cool pictures & nice outfits.
Plus with affordable price too!
I personally do not think they marked up the prices.

So I don't think anyone should hesitate about the quality of their clothings for I can assure you they are all 100% of great quality.
Because I know the two girls, I know how they shop.
& I know how they can shop until they drop ;)

Congratulations on the newly opened blog shop, the customers you already got & for getting reviewed on several blogs.
