November 10th, 2012

Beautifully arranged, we chose 10.11.12 to finally get married, exactly nine months after our engagement in February.  The plans were made with the consent of both families of course.  Actually, we laid out our future life plan draft long beforehand, even at the beginning phase of our friendship as jokes which in the end, most of them were made true by Him the Almighty :')  I'll save our love story for another entry insyaAllah.  Our akad nikah ceremony went smooth and I was officially Yusry's wife on that day with two lafaz.  I'd dare say our reception was very simple.  However, I must seek forgiveness from some of my friends who came on that day and didn't receive quite a courteous hospitality.  Thanks tho to everyone who came  :)

The akad nikah and reception of my side were held on the same day at my parents' lovely cozy home in Topaz, Shah Alam.  The reception theme was Pinkie Peach, I think?  Haha.

And oh, we also had our outdoor photo shoot session done at a small park located close to the court.  Our official photographer was Hariz Yusuf.  I don't think he updates his blog anymore so most of his masterpieces can be viewed here.  More photos can be viewed on my Facebook page, if you can find it ;)

November 17th, 2012

Early in the morning, my husband & I were all set & ready to go for our post-wedding photo shoot at Setia City Mall's park as arranged with our photographer.  We were lucky enough to finish the shooting early since at the tip ending of it, the rain started to fall.  Aggressive by seconds!  So we continued some of the shoots inside the mall instead.

Uuu so both of us are so fair, pfft :p

Back home some time in the afternoon, I had to start packing for a few days stay at my in-law's house in Meru since we'll be having another two receptions there later that night and the day after.  Boy I was really nervous.  Regardless of that, I managed to went through things and we were also celebrated lively.  Had to sing hubby a birthday song that night since it was his birthday -___-"  Malu gila wa cakap sama lu amendeee tiba-tiba nyanyi kat public.  My lovely boy turned 28 that day!  No official photos were taken on the 18th, lagipun simple simple sangat majlisnya just to celebrate neighbors, friends, and relatives in a simple ceremony.  I wasn't even wearing proper wedding attire, veil pun malas pakai.  Hehe.

So fugly  T_T  Happy birthday husband!

Wah, lamanya tak menulis kat sini.  Sebulan lebih dah.  Tiba-tiba nak kahwin.  Kah kah kah.

Alhamdulillah walaupun lambat benor progress preparation pernikahan daku itewww nanti tapi dapat juga selesaikan perlahan-lahan.

Chantek, pejabat agama Klang dengan daerah Petaling dah bagi green light.  Jom kahwin bang!  Haha.  Gelenya!

Kena mula fikir cara menggemukkan beliau ini.  Hoho.  Moga semuanya dipermudahkan, risau ni takda satu apa pun persiapan.  Badan pun makin naik ada la T_T

4 tahun oi belajar Diploma + Degree berdebar je sebab Diploma tu tak grad so kalau tak pass Degree ni I got nothing!  Syukur segalanya dipermudah.

Babies, babies everywhere .

Looks like yet again this blog has been cruelly sent to hibernation mode.  Been busy.  This is completely common in life.  When you got so much to tell, so many things to share, yet you're not blessed with the adequate amount of time to do so.  In contrary, when you are all cozy in your sofas and clean tables, your mind tend to go all blank.  Cursing you for wasting time in front of the laptop.  Malicious, yet that's how our life tend to work most of the time.

I'm currently at home, spending my precious Ramadhan month with thy family and mostly nephews.  Just a quick update.  This year only, we've been blessed with 4 macho little angels (alhamdulillah) which contributed to 5 boys and 3 girls of my parents' grandchildren collection.  And as I speak (or type, whatever), I am currently rocking one of them (Thaqif) in his cradle.  This big kid is my brother's son.  Lookie lookie how big he is!  ;)

Aaaaaaannddddd he's only 5 months old!  He weighs up till 9.3 kg already!  Haha.  Explains my asthma attack most of the time :p  Even so, he is a joy to be around.  Funny kid, he is.  Love the comfortableness when holding and hugging him, I feel waaaarmmmm.  Haha.  

The next picture is to show the comparison between Thaqif and Al-Fatih Fakhri (another brother's son) which was also born this year, in the month of June (can't recall the precise date).

I fell in love with this one kid.  He is the most charming baby I've ever seen especially when he opens his eyes!  He got long, pointy chin and shining big pair of eyes.  Argh, couldn't really explain.  Come and visit him for yourselves ;p

Last but not least, this one little hero first saw the world on last Tuesday, July 31st, 2012.  My sister's second baby.  He is a lot smaller compared to the picture :)

SubhanAllah.  Sesungguhnya aku cukup ingat mimpi yang hadir dalam tidur sebelum berkumandang azan Subuh tadi.  Adakah itu petanda?  Atau sekadar mainan tidur untuk mengejutkan aku dari lena?  Tidak kira apa sebab kehadirannya sekalipun aku cukup berharap Allah sentiasa menerima taubatku dan membuka pintu hatiku beransur menjadi seorang muslimah sejati.

 

Aku mimpi membeli tudung labuh persis kepunyaan ibu.  Tetapi sembunyi, segan jika ada yang tahu.  Tudung itu cantik, lembut berwarna biru.  Ya Allah, sesungguhnya aku mahu :')

Three members of Teratak Selasih's birthdays fall in October:
- Nurdiyanah Md Yunus (Dee)  (ME!)  (4th October 1991)
- Izura Ismail (Jor)  (16th October 1990)
- Nurul Najwa Mohd Hassan (Wa)  (31st October 1990)


The other three members' birthdays fall in February, May, & November (Munira, Rokiah, Zaidatul Laily respectively).  Ok, here's one guy, Muhammad Nasruddin bin Ghani.  He may not be a member of the house but he's our hero alright after Najwa's!  ;)  His birthday fall in November as well.  However, I'm still the youngest of them all.  Heee~  :D


Long story short, my birthday was celebrated with a Tiramisu cake few hours before the day ended, Izura's celebrated about a week after her birthday with a Blueberry Cheesecake (yumsss), & the most special one was Najwa's celebrated a day before with Black Forest cake sponsored by Nasruddin at McDonald's, yeaaay!

Advanced Birthday Celebration.

This entry focuses on my niece, Nur 'Aisyah Raihana binti Muhammad Fairuz.

'Aisyah's 4th birthday will fall on Tuesday the 9th of August. Since everyone will be working & off to school & classes, we decided to celebrate her birthday in advance yesterday, after Tarawih :)
